Arya Wirawan
Role: Director of Operations
Credentials: M.H.M. (Master of Hospitality Management) from STP NHI Bandung; Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA); 15+ years experience with Aman Resorts and Four Seasons in Indonesia.
Bio: Arya is the logistical heart of Private Island Bali. Having managed some of the most exclusive and remote luxury properties in the archipelago, he possesses an unparalleled understanding of the complexities of high-end service delivery in challenging environments. Arya personally oversees the vetting of every property, vessel, and partner in our network, ensuring they meet the exacting standards of our methodology. His relationships with local authorities and communities are instrumental in ensuring seamless and authentic experiences for our clients.
Sari Dewi
Role: Head of Client Relations
Credentials: B.A. in International Relations, Universitas Gadjah Mada; Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland (Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Administration); Fluent in English, Indonesian, French, and Japanese.
Bio: Sari is the primary architect of our clients’ journeys. With a background in diplomatic protocol and extensive experience managing UHNW client portfolios in both Europe and Asia, she brings a rare combination of cultural fluency and meticulous attention to detail. Sari excels at understanding the unstated needs of her clients, translating their desires into flawlessly executed itineraries. She believes that true luxury is personal and works tirelessly to ensure every moment of a Private Island Bali trip is a perfect reflection of the client’s vision.
Captain I Komang Sudira
Role: Director of Marine Operations
Credentials: Ahli Nautika Tingkat I (ANT I) – Master Mariner Class 1 License, Indonesian Maritime Academy; PADI Divemaster; 20 years experience navigating Indonesian waters, including as Captain for luxury Phinisi charters in Komodo and Raja Ampat.
Bio: Captain Komang is our authority on the seas. His encyclopedic knowledge of the Indonesian archipelago’s currents, weather patterns, and hidden anchorages is second to none. He is responsible for the safety, compliance, and operational excellence of our entire fleet of partner yachts and vessels. Captain Komang personally audits each vessel’s safety equipment, crew certifications (in compliance with BPJS and international standards), and emergency protocols. His passion for marine conservation also drives many of our sustainability initiatives.
Isabelle Chen
Role: Culinary Director & Sommelier
Credentials: Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Grand Diplôme®; WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines; Former Head Sommelier for a Michelin 3-star restaurant in Singapore.
Bio: Isabelle curates the gastronomic dimension of the Private Island Bali experience. She works with a handpicked team of private chefs, sourcing the finest local and international ingredients to create bespoke menus tailored to each client’s palate. From a fresh seafood barbecue on a deserted beach to a formal multi-course wine-pairing dinner, Isabelle ensures the culinary journey is as breathtaking as the scenery. She maintains a climate-controlled cellar in Bali and has the logistical network to provision even the most remote islands with world-class wines and spirits.
Dr. Bayu Pratama
Role: Cultural & Environmental Advisor
Credentials: Ph.D. in Marine Biology, Universitas Udayana; Advisor to The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Indonesia; Published author on Balinese cultural heritage.
Bio: Dr. Pratama ensures that our operations are not only luxurious but also culturally sensitive and environmentally responsible. He advises our team on best practices for sustainable tourism, guides our philanthropic efforts, and develops unique cultural immersion programs for interested clients. His expertise allows us to offer experiences that go beyond tourism, providing genuine insight into Indonesia’s rich biodiversity and ancient traditions.
